Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for more than twenty years. She was crowned American Idol during the first season. It was not just the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson into the limelight as it also secured her a deal to RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. From her first appearance her album, she's released several albums. From those, three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to the top spot. They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. As she achieved success she tried out different genres and themes, frequently writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. As a result of her distinctness and ability as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from reviewers and was awarded a couple of notable prizes. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition, she has appeared on film and television. She also wrote the kids' novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
