Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs for The One Direction band. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. Their outstanding performances allowed them to win their first Battle of Bands 2009. Though he's been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an attorney or an physiotherapist. He worked in an area bakery on a part-time basis to support his family financially. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This meant that his band needed to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The group's creation began in 2010. The five members were funded by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which helped them become one of the leading contenders to win the competition.
